Been a While...

It's been a busy few weeks, sorry for the lack of posts. Yesterday was a big day for the country. Now it's time to get to work and "Barack Steady"!

A few weeks back I had members of "The Greatest Class..." back at school for a private screening of Hi8 1/2. Those from the Class of 2005 in attendance were: Kyle Albahary, Brett Benowitz, Jim Manning, Alex Osberg and Jeff Sussman.  Great to see them. Afterwards we noshed at Conti's. (Haven't been there in a while.)

I've been waiting to get word from the next festival in the "waiting to hear from" queue. Already one day has gone by since the posted notification date. No news. We'll see.

I did receive correspondence from the West Chester Film Festival suggesting that the doc be cut to 30 minutes for consideration. I am currently attempting to lob off nearly 15 or so minutes of the movie and get it back in the running. Perhaps this version should be call "2/3 of Hi8 1/2"!

Most recently, during this exam week at school, I brought the whole production to the video studio in order to use the room's improved sound system (and 50" plasma screen!) to finally tweak the audio, add more music and create a more visually engaging/funny moment during Sean Collier's video project explanation. I hope it helps.

After all this, perhaps I can finally put this project to bed.

And that's a quick up to the minute report.
