Well, more "less than glad" news. Here 'tis from Missoula, Montana:

Thank you for submitting your film for consideration at the 2009 Big Sky Documentary Film Festival. This year we received nearly 1000 entries from all over the globe. Our selection committee was challenged to select only 120 films from the diverse selection.

Unfortunately we will not be screening your film at this year's festival. Thank you again for considering Big Sky. We wish you great success and peace in the coming year.

I continue to "retool" the doc. I found Matt Heinle's original storyboards for the Dante piece the kids were making back in 2002. Tightening up that section a bit. Also, I've been planning to funny-up the segment of the Hoban home movies with a little help from a current video student who co-directed the student short from last year: Cash Run.
