Hi8 1/2: The Medium is the Mess

After 10+ years of archiving footage, 5 years of thinking and selecting choice bits, and 2 1/2 months of editing this past summer--the documentary that finally answers the question: "Who's the real amateur anyway?", is finally done!!

Hi8 1/2 is a culminating collage of the good, the bad and the SCSI video clips captured from the times I taught high school video production.

It is a story of shared learning experiences. It is a dream of hittin' the big screen. It is the mad dash reality of working toward a common goal of making that video festival deadline--with a few violent mood swings thrown in for shits and giggles!

Most of all...it's a video memoir salute to the times shared between teacher and students.
